Amario’s Art Academy’s mission is to promote literacy, create comic books and animations that serve the community through creative art projects. To promote artistic integrity and arts education that creates standards of artistic excellence. And to mentor students from grades 3 – 12 on leadership and teamwork skills guiding them towards a professional career in the arts.

Lance Darden

Lance Darden is an Atlanta native, raised in a rich culture of art, music, and creativity. His passion for animation stems from his childhood where he grew up watching Disney movies, Marvel cartoons and anime classics. Beginning his career in television as a character animator for Cartoon Network, he slowly made the transition into feature films where he continued to build an impressive resume as a visualization artist and supervisor. At The Third Floor, Lance has contributed his creativity to blockbuster action films such as Spider-man: Homecoming, Black Panther, and Ant-Man and the Wasp!

Lance has over 15 years of experience in the entertainment business.

paul Jenkins

Paul Jenkins is a British comic book writer, screenwriter, novelist, and narrative director. He has had much success crossing over into the American comic book market. Primarily working for Marvel Comics, Jenkins had a big part shaping the characters of the company, helping via the Marvel Knights imprint to propel Marvel from Chapter 11 bankruptcy before choosing to focus on independent publications. He is also noted for his groundbreaking narrative work in the field of video games, and is recognized as one of the world’s preeminent “cross-media” creators for his work across such multiple media as animation, video games, comic books, and film.

Andre Doanes

Andre Doanes brings his gift of event photography to the Academy. In addition, he is the owner of Doanes Painting Co. established since 1989 a third generation craftsman specializing in faux design and Painting finishes of Interior & Exterior Designs, Andre’ experience is educational and inspiring. Doanes Painting has been serving metro Atlanta, Florida, Alabama, Mass. & New York.

Featured Ambassador - Cey Williams


Cey Adams
New York City native and renowned graffiti artist. Cey has worked as a creative director for Russell Simmons and was featured in the historic 1982 PBS documentary “Style Wars,” which tracks subway graffiti in New York.
